Best 250 2 stroke?

Okay, I just found thumper talk and thought it to be a way to have others help me decide. I have a kx125 with a fuel injector upgrade. I need something a lot faster and with more out-of-the-corner power. There is a crf480 not far from me for $2000. Would this be a good buy or should I stick with a 250-2stroke

I think you should sell your fuel injected kx125 since none others exist in the world to my knowledge. Could sell it for a ton I'm sure!!!!!11!!

A 480 would probably be way to much power coming from a 125 but that's just my opinion

Are you sure the 480 is faster than a fuel-injected 125?

It'd be smart to start learning your way around a bike and it's motor before getting something that has had motor work done, or any race bike in general.

Ok, well then if that's true then you were mislead. The kx-125 is carbureted.

To answer your question ALL of the 250 two strokes are superb. Just find one in good condition for the right price. Also if you are finding that your 125 is underpowered, could it be that your's is maybe not running perfectly? I ride a 300 two stroke that is very well tuned and I also have a125. IMHO the 125 is FAR from underpowered...
