GYTR power tuner questions

I bought a used 2011 yz450 a few months back previous owner had a power tuner but kept it for his other bikes, Id like to purchase one and tinker with my maps but I can say I do like the way it runs now, my question is,Am I able to connect the tuner and pull the current map off the ecu and save it so I'm able to return to it later on. Or is my only option return it to stock and play with maps from there. New to the FI world.

Thanks for any input, also pm me if anyone one is interested in selling a tuner at a fair price.
