KTM Backfiring

I have a 2007 KTM 450 SXF. I have a problem with it backfiring pretty hardcore when it is compression braking. When it is a idol and building up revs it doesn't backfire but when you come off the gas when ridding it backfires. Will this hurt my engine at all? And if so what will it do and how do I fix it. Cheers.

I would think your running just a little lean and need to change the jet to make it more rich.

Adjust your fuel screw out .

That's it, unless you have a bad oring on the fuel screw, or leaking exahust..........

DO NOT change your jetting........

You should be adjusting it every change in air density/moisture/elevation

This makes it easy
