Correct cable routing for decompressor cable xr250

Hey all so as far as I can see my 89 xr250 runs a decompressor cable that's actuated with the kickstart (has the cam on the end of the kickstart shaft) and the actuator arm on the outside. I'd like to know if i'm missing any brackets, which way it correcty routes on the engine to clear the clutch cable, and how to adjust it. I'm in New Zealand , all and any help would be appreciated

Thanks for that, I see your pictures show 2 cables (one from kick start and other from lever end). Can I just run the kick start cable only or will I need to use the lever mounted cable aswell? My understanding is the kick shaft type only runs that cable from the shaft to the rocker cover??
