suzuki DR 400 S and Honda XR 650 L trail riding

Hey I'm looking to see if anyone has experience on both of these bikes on single tracks, hill climbs and real rough roads. I am looking to buy one of these bikes and am wondering how much better the suzuki will be on single tracks, hill climbs and and generally rough roads.. I've read online that the Suzuki is manageable in these types of conditions and the Honda is maybe a bit too big and heavy. My dad has a Honda xr 650 and I rode that and it didn't seem too bad but that was a short ride on a dirt road that was in good condition. Here's a little rider history/ bio.. I started riding when I was very little around 4 years old I believe. I got an xr 250 when I was quite little in the fifth grade but was never extremely skilled. I am now 21 and am looking for a new dual sport. I weigh about 175 pounds and am 6 foot 2 inches. I'm not the strongest individual. I stopped riding all the time when I was about 16 or 17 and have only ridden a handful of times since. Thank you for any advice

If you're looking for a bike that's better at single track then the drz400s is the way to go.
