New to the ktm 50

I just got a 2003 ktm 50 mini adventure and the header pipe gets extremely hot hot enough to burn pretty badly is this a common trait of these bikes or do I need to look into this for an overheating issue with the clutch I've looked through the site and can't find anything on this

Almost any header pipe on any bike will burn you if you aren't careful. That's why many kids bikes have heat shields.

Guess I should have worded that better I understand that they all get hot but compared to a pw 50 does the ktm exhaust get a lot hotter because the one I have gets a lot hotter than a friends pw50
