New to the Honda game

I keep seeing the words R8,Rb etc on Honda bike names, what do these mean

Rb as in crf150rb means big wheel or expert. It is the taller version of the crf150r. Not sure about r8

Refers to the year, and is the 10th number/letter in the VIN number.

R5=2005

R6=2006

R7=2007

R8=2008

R9=2009 (now they switch to letters)

RA=2010

RB=2011

And so on.
