marnes2986 Posted November 1, 2015 Hello All, I just picked up a used crf230M for a good price. I will mainly be using the bike on dirt with 10% on street. I will truck the bike to the trails most of the time. 1) What size knobbies will fit on the crf230m wheels? 2) What type/brand/model of tire do you suggest? 3) Will the crf230F wheel/tire combo fit on the M model? 4) Some have bought an extra 21" wheel for the front. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
On2Whls My Rides (2) Posted November 2, 2015 Bigger wheels roll over obstacles easier. If your just cruising light trails any dual sport tread or big block knobby should suffice and be available for your M rims. Let me know if you'd be interested in selling them. Sorry I just can't find any threads about slapping on knobbies on the M wheels. Thanks

Sorry I just can't find any threads about slapping on knobbies on the M wheels. Thanks I'm not sure about knobby tires but other tires will not rub. 130/80/17 is max on the rear, anything larger will rub. This info is from notes I have kept over the years of owning my M. Yap Yap Posted November 6, 2015 I think xr250 wheels would fit and you can get them pretty cheap. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
