Rm 250 idle problem only when hot

Hi...my rm 250 has a problem when idling hot. The revs pick up and then falls down by itself. It start fine and idles fine but about 10 to 15 minutes into the ride it starts doing this. Also if i keep it idling and turn the fuel off when hot, it will keep reving up and down and then suddenly rev real high just before it dies...your help will be much appreciated!!!

You are running lean on your pilot. Go to the next larger size pilot.

I'll check it this afternoon...if its over heating then i must have damaged something?

It definitly over heated....its now spurting water out the exhaust?

I'll have to open up and see if the cylinder got hurt...i hope not...i'll check the hoses...i also have a boil bottle on there could that cause any problems?

Yea that's what happens when your bike runs out of fuel sucks in air and dies

A boil bottle is a reservoir bottle when it boils over the water tuns in there and back to the radiator
