kmag Posted November 4, 2015 I just bought a new headlight with cowl for my DRZ400S. The new light has a connector that does not match up with the old wiring. I expect I can get the matching connector (pigtail?) at the auto store but I don't know which wires match up. The new light has white, blue, green, brown. The old wiring is 2 yellow, white and black/white stripe. Help.
outlaws Posted November 4, 2015 I ran into the same problem with the cheap ebay headlight cowls. I would recommend chucking those cheap lights out and getting the cyclops which will be H4 plug and play: http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/3800-Lumen-H4-LED-Headlight-bulb-_p_83.html What I had to do with mine is cut the wires and rewire it to the H4 connectors and resolder. Real PITA and the lights are very dim , almost useless.
kmag Posted November 5, 2015 I actually figured it out. I was making it more complicated then it really was. Looks good and for $30 the price was right. We'll see how it stands up.
