221aljacobson Posted November 5, 2015 I have a CB100 that I picked up non-running for $75 with a clean title. Well I got it running, just needed to get a new carb because it had old nasty gas in it for a long time and it was gross. But I have decided to build a cafe racer out of it and slowly have been buying parts but I'm not stuck at where to tuck the battery at because I eliminated the air box which holds the battery, another thing, how would I be able to convert it to 12 volt rather than how it is currently 6 volt
William1 My Rides (2) Posted November 7, 2015 What seat are you planning on running? A classic Cafe seat, you can install the battery in the 'hump'. A gel or tiny LiFe battery can be laid over and will fit for sure.
221aljacobson Posted November 7, 2015 Planing on running the classic hump seat. Currently attempting to make one out of fiberglass then pad it.
