Cb100 Wiring Help!

Recommended Posts

Picked up a 1971 cb100 for $75 with only 627 miles on it! From the original owner! That had bought it from the dealership in 71, but anyways the bike is a little beat up from being in a farm shed with stuff piled on it for 40+ years and I have begun a cafe racer build. I was wondering if anyone has any ways to tuck the battery and wires so I can remove the air box and just put a K&N cone filter on. Also is their ANY way I can switch the whole wiring system to 12 volt rather than 6 volt. If so what would it take.

There's some great posts on this website about converting 6V to 12V. Do a search for that. You'll find Wayne Huff is your guy. He's done it on many vintage Hondas. Your headlight will be far brighter
