Michelin StarCross 5 Soft Terrain Tire VS Michelin S12XC

Has anyone tried the new 5-series Soft terrain?? They are $20 back if you buy a set right now.

It "looks" like a good tire with a similar pattern to my favorite S12XC.

 

Anyone running them off-road??

It is a new model I think. Looks like a good off-road pattern.

I as well am looking forward to hearing someone's experience with both tires. As a long time S12XC buyer, the new meat looks promising. My front tire needs replacing soon, so maybe I'll be the guinea pig.
