mx80 not hitting at all

Hey this is my first post on here and I am looking for some help. I bought a 1982 mx80 a few weeks ago, and it was running great. One day while it was being ridden it started running badly, then died. I was able to start it again but it ran very badly. It cut off again, and I have not been able to get it to start since.

 

I have replaced the plug, coil, and the head gasket.  It is sparking, getting gas, and the rings are good.

 

It will not fire at all even on starter fluid.  Please help!

Check for air leaks, its possible u may have a leak at the carb cyl junction. you might want to check out your carb, is the float needle valve clogged or worn? bad gas? worn spark plug? you might consider rebuilding your carb.

I am nearly positive it is not the carb because even when I spray starter fluid in the head and kick, it will not fire. The most it has managed is a backfire since it stopped running.
