Bearclaw27 Posted November 10, 2015 So I picked up a project CR250, guy had what looked to be rolling 98' CR250, a 99' frame, and a 97' engine, engine needs rebuilt, he was putting all the parts on the 99 frame from the 98' and was going to try and make it the complete bike, I think he chose that frame because it was shiniest, I will plan on fully restoring the 98 because I believe all of the parts came off that bike, although I have read plenty of posts stating all three years 97',98',99' are interchangeable down to the last bolt. This is the reason for my post, just double checking these three bikes are compatible, the left case is cracked in the 97' motor I have, do I need to get a 97' case or can I get a 98' or 99'?
