KPRacing Posted November 10, 2015 A friend of mine has. If I remember correctly, I believe he used the steering post from the 1996 & the clamps from the newer bike. He may have simply swapped the triple clamp without even swapping posts. Pretty sure you just use your original bearings for the 1996 chassis. He may have added some material to the frame to make the steering stops line up properly. Either way, he said it was an easy swap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
