Spring ID help needed

Recommended Posts

New to me 2002 EXC 250-f, sping is too soft for my 240lb frame.  Can anyone help ID this spring so I can get the right one or does anyone have suggestions for a spring.  Like I said 240lb - 48 yo rider trying to keep up with my 13yo kid  in the backcountry.  I am a solid but not crazy rider.

I'd run 8.5-11 progressive on the rear and 46 on the front unless you're pushing hard then I'd run 48's. I think Factory connection may still have progressive springs which seem to work better with the early shock.  I'm figuring 260 lb geared up.

On rare occasions you may have to slightly sand down the spring guides with 48 or 50 fork springs on the 43mm forks. No big deal.
