Better than grip glue, plus safety wiring your grips

Recommended Posts

3M 77 Adhesive Spray

I have had a can of this stuff forever and still works great. I use it for grips and also when installing seat covers. I use this without safety wire and have never had a problem. I've also used whatever spray paint I have laying around in the garage with good luck.

You gotta have man-size hands for pillow tops.  :p 🤣

Man size hands = among at least one other thing, man size gloves - teehee

Anyhoo - The only reason I haven't gone ODI (and getting into another topic) is that I like running open hand guards with an aluminum/bearing throttle tube. I've had plastic throttle tubes break and I know running full guards can reduce this but I really like the snap with my current tube

Pillow tops are the worst grip EVER. To each his own I guess.

Hockey tape and gasoline. It'll change your world.

No way!

Huge, ZERO grip if any moisture gets on there.

Soft half waffles for me.

Ran them for years and never noticed them get slick.

Aqua net hairspray. Coat the bar and spray inside the grip. It slides right on and stays put better than your aunt Edna's hair in a tornado.

That's what I used to do when I raced BMX in the 80's!

Are Pillow Tops a fatter grip?  I need fatter grips!

Clear finger nail polish always works for me. Just throw some on the bars and in grips and slide on.
