DRZ400SM stage 1 intake and stage 2 exhaust

hi i have a question i have a drz400sm with full FMF fcr39mx bigbore and now i want to do the cams.

can i do hotcams stage 1 for the intake and stage 2 for the exhaust?

cause i would like to increase some more top-end without sacrificing the low end power.

any advice please cause i have read alot on cams but i am confused because the threads are old

Hot Cams Stage 1 IN and Stage 2 EX will work fine.  But you never get something for nothing.  I can't really say if the results will be half way between stage 1 and and stage 2.  I think I would just go Stage 2 for both.  Stage 2 is not very radical.  It used to be Hot Cams had adjustable sprockets so you could degree in the cams and make minor adjustment to the timing to vary the results but those cams are not longer available.
