Looking for a 1976 ty 250 flywheel.

Has anyone ever put the heavier style flywheel on their 1974 Yamaha ty 250. i think they started using the heavier flywheel in 1976. I want to chug thru sections a little slower without using clutch.

The trick back in those days was a metal band that added weight to flywheel, nowdays the trick is to not only remove that aftermarket band, but to shave some off, for quicker throttle response.

Im good with the throttle response on the ty250. Im riding vintage A in the sections which equates to the sportsman class for modern bikes. Plenty of power for these obstacles but I want to do all the tight maneuvers with out the clutch at slow speeds. My ty175 does this but I want the power of the 250 for obstacles. Its tough to manipulate the mechanical clutch on these old bikes smoothly without jerking in tight sections. Im having a tough time finding a heavy clutch because everyone has destroyed them as you discussed.
