2001 YZ250 Counter Sprocket

I replace all seals and crank bearings on the bottom end.

After assembling the bike I noticed the front counter sprocket is difficult to spin. It will rotate smoothly, but is stiff. Even after putting on the chain and rear wheel, it doesn't spin freely.

Could this be a problem?

If you replaced the CS seal, did you pre-lube the seal and O-ring?

Maybe not.

If I remember correctly, just lay the bike on it's right side, remove the sprocket, pull out the collar, and lube the seals.
