Getting back into riding. Is this a good deal?

Back in high school I rode a 2004 KTM 125SX. I want to get back into riding both mx and trails and am looking for a solid reliable bike. I'm on a strict budget of $1500 for a starter bike because I still have to buy all new gear. I found this post on CL and thought it looked pretty good. Im going out to look at it tomorrow and I'd like to know what you guys think about it. Anything I should look for or be worried about? IS this a good value especially if I can talk him down a bit more?

Looks good to me...go online and make a check list and when you look/ride it just go down your list and make sure things look good....I start at the front tire and go back from there looking and listening for anything odd..but that's a fair price.good luck.

Looks pretty clean. Make sure it's still got good compression and everything and there's no signs of needing a rebuild. 4 strokes can be pricey to rebuild you don't want end up with a bike that runs good for 10 hours then blows up n your stuck with a grenade.
