Docs ride-650 Posted November 20, 2015 Okay, new to dual sport/adventure riding, but I have ridden for 40 years. Main question-does hard luggage/saddlebags come with their own specific mounting hard ware or do you get a bike specific mounting system that most bags will usually mount to. Bike- Honda XR650L Bags- Pelican side cases or equivalent (I can use these when not on a trip) Pelican top case (ditto) Thinking 35 liter side, ~40 liter top All help/ideas appreciated. baldy110 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) Good question, I bought the Twisted Throttle racks. Their supposed to allow a variety of boxes to fit. I have only used Trax boxes with them so I don't know if the Twisted Throttle statement is true. My setup worked great for my trip through Central America, they survived several crashes.
