you're buying a spring, or a shock + spring ?

the shock is the same on S and SM, the spring RATE is different between E / S / SM. the spring RATE will make a bigger difference than which shock is on the bike. check out racetech for spring rates, and set your SAG properly :)

I want to buy new shock to swap out spring and get rebuilt and then sell my old one. That way I'm not waiting on rebuild with a parked bike.

Does everyone feel Racetech is spot on with their calculator? I feel like I've read it's off.
