2015 RMZ450 Broke Rear Shock

I am not tripping as I have Ohlins on the way, just a heads up.

 

A guy in the crew had his YZ450 piston take a dump about 4 miles deep in the forest.

 

Being the nice guy I rode him out of the forest on the back on my 2015 RMZ450.

 

Either our close to 500 pound weight our the rough terrain  cased my rear shock to fail.

 

It would no longer support the rear of the bike, it just collapses. The shock spring looks good.

 

Before you 2 up someone keep this in mind,.

Wonder how hot it got? you could put a shock pump on it and see much pressure is still in it

My suspension guy is going to rip it apart and tell me the damage. I will post up when I find out.
