Dirt Rider July 1983 - Trail Tuning Your XR200R

It is true that basic chassis on these is great. Too bad he did not have all the new parts we have now. Heck we got 240cc kits that run from pumpfuel to race gas and at least 10 different camshafts available. 218 kit with proper torker cam and around 11-1 with a cleaned up head is a hard to beat combo. Nearly as reliable as stock motor and far more power for riding trails

Thanks for posting the old article.

 

An XR200r with a long stroke, small bore to meet the 200cc class, now that is out of the box thinking I like, I enjoyed the article.
