jridd Posted November 24, 2015 Had my forks rebuilt not long ago and they began leaking from the rebound adjuster. I pulled the screw off and lost one of the bearings. Where can I find one of the missing bearings.
Betarocker My Ride Posted November 25, 2015 Take a caliper and measure the other bearing.
Burnrider Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) Look up the part on RMATV. The bearing is listed as a 3mm ball bearing for my bike. To disassemble - place a rag over the adjuster and catch the ball & spring. (For next time) You should clean the cap bore with some scotch guard and replace the 'O' ring to prevent leaks. Bel-ray, Motorex gel grease or Silicone grease are excellent lubes. Replacing it in your plastic RBD adjuster - grease the stem, place the spring with bearing on top. Use a 10mm open end wrench to twist slowly loading spring & bearing into stem. Place it on the cap and press down til bearing is in the cap. Remove endwrench.
