Need help identifying carburetor

Hello,

First post hoping someone can help. I have this carb supposedly it's from an xr200 but it probably isn't. I need to fix it as I have fuel coming out my intake but can't find any info on it since I don't know what it is. I know it's a keihin and that's about it. Anyone have any info they can share? It's on a souped up xr100 awhile I bought a while back. Thanks!

I have never posted on a forum before so this is new to me. Anyhow I bought this xr100 a while ago it's supposed to be a 120 and the owner said all kinds of great things about it. None of that mattered because I rode it and it hauled my fat butt around his neighborhood like was a 50 pound kid on a rocketship and I weigh 220 pounds.

Doesn't look like any XR200 carb that I know of.

 

Keihin cast and stamp carb model and ID numbers on the one side of the carb.  All of the XR185/200 carbs are sub models of the "PD" series.

Thanks chuck! The only thing I see on the side of the carb is keihin. Maybe it's not a real keihin? Or maybe I am just noticing in the right area?

Hmmm, should be something like CB, SL, XL100 or 125 carb from the seventies.

Holy cow Alex that carb matches mine perfectly. I can't thank you enough. I took the thing apart and cleaned it with carb cleaner a few times last summer but couldn't figure out why there was still fuel creeping up towards the air cleaner. The last time I tried I kinked the throttle cable and couldn't figure out how to replace it. I found out I could send the old one to motion pro and have it copied for $40.00 so now I have the new cable and am going to get this carb figured out. I paid 850 for the bike And it ripped so I am happy with the performance of the carb I just want to make it stop dripping gas on the exhaust. When I kinked the cable I left the carb apart In a ziplock bag and now I don't remember where this little rubber gasket goes. It's not an oring it's a flat gasket. If I can attach a pic I will. Anyway once I get it all figured out I will start another thread about taking it completely apart and cleaning it again. Hopefully it will be helpful to someone else. I don't know exactly, but must be about 0,83" to 0,93". Maybe some more experienced guys can tell you the exact height.

But if you're satisfied with carb performance, just replace the fuel needle valve with seat and the gaskets. Leave the other interiors untouched.

Don't think so.

The mentioned gasket is totally different and still stuck in the cap.
