Help front rim questions

Recommended Posts

So I have a 96 RM125 and I bent my excel rim. I ordered a 99 rm250 rim that said would fit but doesn't let axle go thru all the way. Question what years fit a 96 front rim.Everyone and there mother claims 96-00 fits but oemcycle.com and others say 96-00 same axle but different hub. But how does 01-08 have same hub as 96 but different axle. Help fellas.

The 99 RM250 wheel should bolt right on, unless it's not actually from a 99 RM250, or you have a different front end on your bike. The hubs have the same part numbers for both bikes.

What site did you use to see that? Oemcylce says like 145-fr 20mm while 97+ says 257-20mm for hub. However the rim I got looks like a possible RMZ per the look of rotor. But all these parts sites says 96 is different from 97-99. So much conflicting information I just can't keep buying the wrong stuff. But you type in 96 rm125 front Rim and everyone says it fits.
