I've never been much of a Reed fan, but the older he gets the more I am becoming one. It takes a rare quality to keep on going in this sport and still keep the kind of pace he is capable of. One tough guy, that is for sure. Too bad he didn't stay on the Kawasaki though.

I honestly think he's going to surprise a lot of us. Not sure I expect any wins from him but I'll bet he mixes it up.

I don't think it is the bike with BamBam. He is getting holeshots and seems to be able to ride ok in the heats. The "bike never looks good" because he is fading and unable to maintain anything after 5 or 6 laps(which is ok for heats)

Last night they were saying he has some thumb issue that is bothering him. But I am thinking that maybe it is something else.

For sure. I guess I just like the Kawasaki green a little more, plus they put out a really nice 450 for 2016. All of the pro bikes are rippers though.

Ripping is not the issue with any of them, handling/susp is the key. CR is making a lot of the internet/mag Yammie poor handling talk look like just that, internet talk.

It seems most I read that the Yamaha forks are the best out there.

Me too. He kept a hell of a pace the entire time, just not enough to catch Dungey.

I think the new Yamahas handle fine, you just have to ride them a little different than other bikes.
