690 Enduro Folding Rear Brake Lever

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!

I have a 2015 690 Enduro and absolutely love the bike. 😛

I Ride mine about 85% Dirt and 15% street. :ride:

One problem I have is I keep Bending the stock rear brake lever. :lame:

I keep looking for a folding lever but i cannot seem to locate one.

I also have seen the Hammer head for sale but all the reviews I have read say it doesn't fit this bike.

Has anyone else replaced their rear brake lever? What lever do you use?

Any one else having this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  👍

Thanks.

I bent the hell out of mine as I use mine 100% dirt and went with a machined one as a replacement that's heaps stronger. I can't remember the brand of the top of my head. It might have been from rally raid in the UK or someone like Slavens.

A bit of googling will turn up a few decent strongly made replacement's.

I folded up mine too and went with the Clean Speed -

Don't remember paying that much.. The other choice was even more $$ one of those big European Adventure companies make it..

Of course, with a super strong lever and the right crash you will bend the mount point. I'll take that chance as the stronger one takes little drops with no damage.

Thanks for the help.

I found the one on Rally raid and it looks nice but i think i like the Clean Speed better.

Did you by chance go with the stepped pedal pad? it looks handy but I'm not too sure. thoughts? http://www.cleanspeedeng.com/?page_id=729

I just installed the Clean Speed break with the lower pad. I love it! I also put on some IMS footpegs that made the break a little lower.
