Matt Gunter My Ride Posted January 13, 2016 Hey guys I've had this 2004 Rmz for a while I recently rebuilt bottom, top, and valves everything is brand new bike starts and runs perfectly. I'm having trouble with it blowing oil out of the bent tube on a straightaway on my local track, also when the bike is started and then shut off after a few oil slowly leaks out after it is shut off, I always drain all the oil out and put the specified amount in just curious if anyone knows a fix, my rear brake pad budget needs to be cut. Thanks.

This makes no sense.
speedtoad Posted January 13, 2016 Have you done a leak down test on the rebuilt motor? Sounds like excessive crankcase pressure.
Matt Gunter My Ride Posted January 13, 2016 Haven't done a leak down test I will do that right away but what's a good fix for too much case pressure?
speedtoad Posted January 14, 2016 but what's a good fix for too much case pressure? Bad piston rings or cylinder are a cause.
Matt Gunter My Ride Posted January 14, 2016 Did the leak down everything checked out okay I had the vent routed the wrong way it was kinked by the carb, runs great no problems had it out in the snow yesterday
