Is a '13 RMZ450 for 3500 a good deal?

There are 120 hours on the bike with the top end rebuilt every 50 hrs and bottom end rebuilt every 100 hrs. There are currently 20 hours on the last rebuild. Bike was in a wreck that bent the subframe and wrecked the yoshi muffler. Subframe was bent back and stock exhaust was reinstalled. 

 

The price seems to reflect the usage, but should I be running away or towards this deal? I'll be using this bike for supermoto duty. Comes with a loudmouth intake.

Doesn't seem like a horrible deal to me. Sub frame and exhaust are not a big deal. I would look over the frame really well though. Make sure there are no stress marks on or around any mounting points. Not uncommon to see frame damage coming from heavy subframe damage.

Are the high hours a concern? Seller is a vet rider who claims to have maintained the engine very well.. but what signs should I look for when checking the bike out engine wise?

No... not at all. 

 

Listen for excess noise such as knocking and excess vibration.

Florida market might be different than New England but I paid 3500 for mine last year with about 5 hrs on it, still has the dealer sticker on the rear fender. Used ones are hard to sell around here because dealers blowout leftovers crazy cheap, why pay 4grand for a used one when you can get a leftover for under 6. Seems every vet rider in this area is on an rmz, including me!
