XR400 vs. KTM450EXC debate down the hall....

Recommended Posts

Hi all, It's been a while since I've been in this room. An uber-dry fire season had me off the bike for most of last summer.

I sat by and watched the XR get slammed for long enough. It needs our support!

The orange snobs from the northwest are blabbing on about a few extra pounds and outdated suspension...

I feel I put up a good fight in post #13.

One thing that guy probably isn't thinking about is the cost of a rebuild. He's already talking about spending 4000.

Both are very excellent and reliable if cared for. I race a CR250 but am on my fourth XR4 for D/S and fun trailing. Every time I sell one I regret it and go find another.

👍 They woke a sleeping giant.

I think the down-talk was their way of relieving some angst against getting shown-up by an XR at one time or another.  😛
