espacef1fan Posted January 20, 2016 Do you guys feel that the drz has enough power? What are some mods that you have done or recommend. How's it wheelie? I just picked up a DRZE. More than enough power for me. I used to own a KLX250. I was bored on it. It would go anywhere, but I was bored. The DRZ E is amazing to me in comparison! Mine has 3x3 and a slip on. Pretty much stock otherwise as far as power is concerned.
deerhuntermn97 Posted January 20, 2016 Sweet. Yah if there's wind going down the highway at 60 my klx just runs out of power.
espacef1fan Posted January 20, 2016 The E I picked up has 14/44 gearing.wheelies are super easy in first. It goes 50 like nothing. It needs tires and a chain so I havent been any faster. Its a bit taller and heavier than the KLX was but the POWER is WAY better. I',m 5'7" and 170lbs for reference.

Wrryder37 Posted January 21, 2016 How much of a difference does the striker crank give the bike
espacef1fan Posted January 21, 2016 Depending what you are doing it might not be needed.
albani My Ride Posted January 22, 2016 Stroker alone? Not sure. With everything else it makes for decent power over stock. if you aren't splitting cases for a full go through, just put a big bore on it.
Muzz67 My Rides (4) Posted January 22, 2016 I'm more than happy with both mine as standard, with only the snorkel removed and pipe opened slightly so its still family friendly.
