Best Motorcycle shop?

Okay so have some issues with my bike and want to do a full top end rebuild so I'm looking for a good shop in Southern California (Orange County area) to send in a cylinder and the whole value train. I want the cylinder to get honed and a piston fitted for it and the valves redone. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to have done to it, I'll be taking it all apart soon to see what needs to be done. But does anybody have really good experiences or bad experiences with shops? Best prices? Just looking for some info. Thanks.

Check out AS Racing. About an hour and a half north. But held in very high regard amongst the so cal community.

Just had travis at TBT racing do a rebuild on the motor and suspension done. I've been to a couple top rated shops and travis knocked it out of the park. The best suspension yet and the motor is as strong as ever!

   Check out these guys.

X2 on Q&E. I've used them twice with no issues. They did the bore on my KX.

DO NOT USE Inside Line in OC. They are idiots and rip off artist.

You'll probably find most shops who send out boring/honing/valve work will be sending it to Q&E in So Cal

Trying to buy an older yz125 w a green sticker. I came across a 2004 that is green sticker. Per the owner "CA used to do a lottery thing on a certain year and bike and it was the 04 125 that got the green sticker".
I am gonna confirm the VIN, but was wondering if it's in fact true that CA issued green stickers with a lottery system for 2003 and newer bikes?
I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Thank you all for you advice.

I just picked up a 2018 YZ250X and need to do my break in. How gnarly is Rowher Flats after rains like we just had? I'm thinking about heading there Sunday. I moved to LA last year and I've only been there 3 or 4 times, but so far I enjoy the riding there more than most of the "day trip" locations.
Not the biggest fan of Hungry Valley, but I imagine HV is ok despite the rain this week.
Side note, how bad does the road in to RF get after weather like we just had?

Anybody heading out to Ridgecrest on Sunday?  Looks like rain in the forecast Saturday.  I got froze out last weekend, would like to get out there especially after the rain.
