Switched pre mix now spooging bad

I have an 04 cr250, was running Bell 2T at 32:1 switched to Castor 927 and kept mix at 32:1. Rode the bike hard last weekend and noticed lots of spooge coming out the silencer. My plug looks good. Do you guys have to jet differently depending on what pre mix you use?

Buddy of mine works at maxima , and he said 40:1 is what they recommend

I will have to try 40:1

Its part synthetic, lean that oil ratio out bro. Ive been running 40-1 for years, with no probs!

My buddy is a harescramble pro and he swears by 50:1

Try 40:1, nothing under 50:1 IMO though

28:1 is what I run, and I get nothing blowin anywhere but a little sweet smoke. You might also look at carb settings as well.

Sweet Jesus !

you guys needs to stop playing with the gas/oil ratio !

if you foul plugs, or spit fuel out of the exhaust or anything, JUST JET YOUR CARB !

1. Run the ratio the oil manufacturer recommend and STICK TO IT  and don't change the type of oil;

2. Jet the carb correctly;

3. DONT EVER PLAY WITH GAS/OIL RATIO AGAIN ! ;

4. Don't touch  the gas/oil ratio again

5. don't you ever touch the gas/oil ratio again !

6. Jet the carb correctly.

do y'all guys understand ?  :banghead:  :goofy:

you have to keep in mind that everytime you change the type of oil and/or ratio, you will need to jet the carb again and again. When something wrong occurs like fouling plugs, running lean, running rich....the thing to do is to JET THE CARB not to change the gas/oil ratio.

Depending on the oil you use, you can run from 8:1 to 100:1....choose an oil, choose a ratio that's recommended by the oil manufacturer, and jet your carb. I can't insist enough on that !

My bike runs perfect. My so called finicky TMX is perfect. I spooge and I believe its bc of the type of riding I do. I could also care less about spooge. If my bike rips and wants to spit a little bit it's fine with me.

So your saying don't ever play with gas oil ratio again?14-woody-allen-quotes-to-start-off-your-uhh-week.jpg

And jet the carb correctly. :)

Re-pack the silencer. Problem solved. Carb jetting is overrated.  ;)

overrated..........WHAT!!!!!!!! :jawdrop:  tell that to the TMX carb

fix the stock head on the cr250,

let it correctly,

enjoy

Problem is you need to keep that carb wide open , stop pissing about with putting around

yes basically that's what i mean....sorry guys if it's not clear ;)

Ok gents, you heard becykagz, it's clear.....Beavis-and-Butthead-Huh-Huh-Humbug-beavis-and-butthead-9406643-720-480.jpglol!

also keep in mind that running castor oil.  it is just a messier oil.  but very slippery for your engine to stay lubed.  and sure does smell good!

I'm thinking about going Klots, 40:1 is the Klots 50 the shit most people run?
