Carb swap to FCR 37. klx 300

Recommended Posts

I have seen bit's and pieces on the swapping of a carb.  Can you use your stock throttle cables?  Will I need to replace the intake boot?  Any modifications for installation?  I have the air box lid removed, K&N air filter, and after market exhaust and live about 6500ft above sea level, any recommendations for initial jetting?  I have seen some say they have issues with the new carb and the exhaust.  Anyone have pictures of what they had to modify to get it installed?  Is it easier to rejet?  I remember jettng yz250f's and all you would need is a 17 wrench and 6  socket. I was told carbs were going for 100.  But been seeing closer to 150 to 250.
