what forks interchange with 1996 cr250

about to embark on a 1996 cr250 restoration. One of the upper fork tubes has damage to it. Any other years/models will interchange? Thought maybe 1995, but the part numbers are different. Just looking primarily for a replacement upper tube.

You could update to some 2002-2007 cr250 forks.

You will need the triple clamps, front wheel, wheel spacers, front caliper mount, & of course the forks.

The only modification you will need to do is add a little weld to the steering stop on the frame.

Thought about doing something like that, but decided to just restore it to stock.  Doesnt need to be the latest and greatest, I am not that good a rider and I have newer bikes in the garage for that.  That is unless I come across a unpassable deal on parts.
