New head shape, compared to original head - 2011 250sx

I'm having to replace my head and received the new head, which must be the part superseding the original part. The inside head shape is considerably different as seen in the photo. How will this affect power output?

I wish I knew that too. Surprising that they are so different.

Nice find Swappa, I should have thought to check MXA. What do you think about #3, the ignition mapping being changed to support the head change?

(2) Cylinder head. The combustion chamber has been optimized with new squish and a new shape, although the compression ratio remains unchanged.

(3) Black box. The ignition mapping has been advanced to work in unison with the new combustion chamber.
