Clutch plate problems

Whats the Difference between 12 and 8?

Do you mean 4 or the year models. If you mean the year models I believe much is the same. But not all so you can check the part numbers of what you wish to change online.

They look different, they grip differently, and they are on the outside of the stack.

It's a 426.  Number 12 has a larger inner diameter in order to have room for the "boss spring" and "spring plate", #'s 13 and 14 respectively.  If you have the spring and plate installed, but don't have the right plate in the first position, that's why your clutch won't disengage.

Its working now
