Air cooled vers water cooled

husky air cooled ch511 schoolboy

hi i have a 2006 husky ch511 high out put 50cc school boy its air cooled but seams to run very hot and once hot seams to suffer from fuel stavavion yet runs ok on choke is it normal for this engine to run so hot any advice would be great thanks nick and son
