2015 FC350 build

Recommended Posts

I never thought much into Kenda tires but a bunch of my buddies really love them so we are giving them a go this year. The washougal 2 DC is the tire for the wife and I  this year. The dual compound seems like a bad AF idea, I can’t wait for the wife and I to give them a go. I thought the new Washougal 2 front tires were not the dual compound because of the description of them but they are for sure.

Those washugal II are one fantastic tire. We run them here in the AZ desert and mountains.

Got the bikes to Motovate Racing for their 2020 love. I added to the list a fork and shock service to have all fresh fluids for this season. Motovate Racing is also going to add a some awesome crosshatching/microfinish to the forks and rear shock, it’s the same thing that Kreft Moto does but at a better price... Much better price!!!!!!

http://www.kreftmoto.com/microfinish

I get so gosh darn excited about moto and dirtbikes.. thank god I don’t do drugs or I will be a junkie for sure!!

Motovate Racing got some parts installed and then I snagged her up because I may rip thundervalley or IMI this weekend in Denver.

The new MotoStuff pro-lite 280mm front disk and pro-lite rear disk is ridiculous. A, being big AF she is much lighter than the 270mm galfer and the rear is crazy light compared to the dirttricks rear solid rotor which should be expected.

The Nihilo gun metal gas cap is an improvement for the overall scheme of the bike compared to the Husky blue one but not the exact color I was expecting. Still a big win

The hammerhead products are very nice. The all black +10mm shift lever looks perfect with my idea and the silly buy of the black titanium shifter bolt really is awesome. The black aluminum rear brake lever with titanium tip and hardware is money, looks incredible.

New cycra black plastic hand guards and hand guard end pieces are just my OCD. Lol

The beginning of next week the bike will go back Motovate Racing for the crosshatching the forks/rear shock, the new ASE parts from the UK, new Nihilo frame protection  and what ever else I can dream up to do 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤦🏼‍♂️

Still working on the last bit of change to the new graphics from MPDecals but stoked on what’s happening. Acerbis USA has been giving me a little bit of help over the years so pumped for the new plastics like always.

I will not be hitting the factory Rockstar Husqvarna FMF header with a torch like the last two, too cool of a piece and will see what happens when I ride her WFO in the desert in the spring. 👊🏻✊🏻💨

I was able to do a little work today.

1.  The AS3 rear brake reservoir extension doesn’t have a chance of surviving... Its tooo damn tall. It almost hits the exhaust sitting on the stand. So yeah that was a dumb move. 🤦🏼‍♂️

2. The AS3 black case bolt needs like a 15mm Allen wrench which I do not have, so I will ask the local Conoco if they have one or will have to purchase a big set of Allen wrenches..

3. The Nihilo frame guards were not quite as exact as the P3 I installed previously but still do the trick.

Now the awesomeness. The factory Rockstar Husqvarna FMF is soooooo rad! It’s amazing how different it is compared to the regular FMF but that would be expected. The welds are twice as thick, the dent behind the mega bomb is different, the front header is longer and shaped totally different (which now rubs the skid plate but I will fix that) and the extra titanium protection on the front header.

Was this needed? Oh god no but I am stoked beyond belief!

can you flip your sparkplug socket to fit inside the "15mm" allen?

Many of those plugs are same size as the hex on a sparkplug socket when you flip it upside down and use the side you would put a wrench to.

I have done this on snowmobiles quite a few times.

After letting her warm up twice and some good whacks on the throttle while on the stand I have fixed the skid plate touching the header pipe problem, lol. The skid plate just melted away very clean and no residue on the pipe. Pumped!

Something kinda odd happened after the install of the head pipe, she really fires up more quickly. I know it sounds weird but I swear it does. After the warm ups I would grab some throttle and honestly the throttle response feels better. Maybe I have a boner for it or maybe the pipe could be better than the regular FMF mega bomb. Either way it only makes me more excited to ride and test it out.

damn she turned some color really quick with no load on her.

Another round of Motovate Racing love will happen this week. Dropping her off hopefully before Friday

Wow, you've certainly poured a lot of money into this bike! I'd hate to ask "how much..."

lol. Yes sir I have. I don’t have kiddos so this is my Kiddo.
Probably got about 🌲fiddy in to her. To be honest in the very beginning of the build I had a list, my wife found it and wasn’t thrilled. So I don’t keep a tally any more but it’s much much more than needed. 👊🏻✊🏻💨
