Graphics with aftermarket tank

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how the graphics kits look on the aftermarket oversize tanks? I have a WR426 and am planning on picking up a YZ tank and seat but have my sights set on a graphics kit already. Im looking for a 3+ gallon capacity but a good look. WR forum didn't have much input. Ill link the set i'm looking at but was hoping for some input as to what track to go with for capacity and look +fit. Looking at the bomber set

Graphics tend to not want to stick to an aftermarket tank with a rough surface. I just put graphics on my bike and i highly recommend getting a prep kit like the one that decal works sells. Its a 3 stage prep kit that gets the surface clean and the 3rd stage is an application fluid that allows you to move the graphic around until you get it right. Give them plenty of time to dry before you ride on them. Decal works says at least 48 hours
