What 2017 450 to buy?

Hello I am 16 years old race A class on a 250. I'm moving up to a 450 so I am asking you guys which 450 I should get? It's either a 2017 CRF450R or 2017 YZ450F. Which one do you think is better and why? Thank you for your input.

The YZ is monstrous. By far the largest, and heaviest feeling 450. Its lighter than the Suzuki on paper, but the suzuki feels worlds ligther, except when lifting onto the stand. Some people like that, but not me, even at 6'2" 200lbs plus.. The cornering is terrible IMO. However the engine and suspension/stability are in a league of their own. If you like a very strong engine, the best stability, almost perfect suspension action of the showroom floor, and dont use the front wheel to turn, go yamaha. If you ride off road in wide open spaces, Id go yamaha.

I havent ridden the Honda, but you can read all the great things on it online. If you are a faster or heavier, the forks will probably feel too soft. The engine might not have quite the bark of the yamahas, but seems more ride able for mortals. I think the CRF is more of a total package, and will be a more suitable race bike. It will definitely corner better, and still be stable enough. If your racing MX, id go Honda

My buddy has the 17 crf450 and swears by it.  Says it makes his 16 look like trash.  I also agree with Zbackcountry about the yz.  I love them, they hold up well and are well sprung but they are heavy.

Go to KTM and buy a 350 from 2016 or 2017. That is the gun for younger riders. ?
