Should I trade my 95 kx125 for a 04 yz250f

I was wondering if a 04 yz250f is a good bike?

Yes it is. Suspension will be better. The 04 has a better frame then 01 and 02. Better forks then 03.
Just make sure condition is similar. Valves are the expensive issue. If bike doesn't start when hot it is a sign of bad valves. Also recent valve adjustments is a bad sign.

It may be 9 years newer than your current bike but it's still a 13 year old MX race bike.

IMO better to know the faults of your old bike than opening an all new can of worms.

Save up and buy a newer bike when ready.
