Leaking carburetor?

Hi all,

My DR-Z has been having some idling problems, and I was told to check various o rings in the carb (Mikuni BSR36.)  I checked the needle valve o ring and the float needle seat o ring, and they both looked fine.  Also the float needle tip looks good.  Generally the whole carburetor was quite clean.  

I did just install the Raptor petcock, but if fuel was getting through the carburetor before the Raptor was installed, it's leaking somewhere.

Not sure where to turn, except an oil change, to clear out any fuel in the motor.  I would just like to make sure any fuel doesn't leak into my new oil.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure how to check that.
