Weisco crank in 07 crf250r

Recommended Posts

Well I recently rebuilt my top end in my 07 with a weisco standard bore and all new valves also. Just to freshen it up. I noticed I had a weisco crank in it. I've had it 3 years and it had no slop in the crank at all. I was just wondering how these cranks are. Mine seems very well but was wondering what you guys think. I change oil every 2 rides and also put in a stage 2 hotcam. I ride only woods so I'm never reving the hell out of it. How do these cranks hold up. Any advice would be appreciated!

I would never ever put Wiseco crank in any of my bikes. I had one in one of my bikes and it locked up with only a could hours on it. Also there are So many horror stories about them. Just do a search on this forum or on Google and you will find out.

I have used hot rods in about 15 of my personal bikes over the last 7-8 years, and probably have put in around 20 hot rod cranks in customers bikes, and have never had a crank failure.
