'04 KX125 FMF Rev Shorty jetting

Recommended Posts

Any help on where I should go from stock jetting with this setup? Around 1,000ft elevation and temps in the 70's relatively high humidity. 32:1 mix

Thanks

Jetting will vary from one bike to another but you could start by going up a size on the main jet.  You may end up going the other way too.  Got to do some testing and see what it likes.

I figure it'll take some testing, just thought I might see if I can get pointed in the right direction, thanks! Any pointers on what symptoms would indicate if I need to go larger or smaller on the jets, main vs pilot, needle/clip size/position?

In case you'd like to try what FMF recommends, this is what comes up for your bike. According to FMF these specs are based off 32:1 fuel to oil mixing ratio of a 50/50 mix of race fuel and super unleaded, 0 - 1500 ft altitude at 70 degrees outside temperature.

Main Jet: 410-420

Pilot Jet: 40

Needle: STOCK

Needle Position: 3RD

Power Jet: STOCK

Air Screw: 1.5

Motohead thank you very much! Where did you get that? I searched FMF's website but couldn't find anything.
