Usually the aluminum part of the kicker gets mushroomed where it meets the steel stopping point allowing it to lay back too far and will rub the frame and or lever. you can remove the splined pivot and build up the stopping point with weld. Use a 7018 rod, then grind the tac weld flat. This may take a couple tries to get the kicker just where you want it to stop at full open. should be 0 degrees horizontal (kicker open) but wont hurt for it to lay a tad forward. Hope this makes sense. Its a very easy task, if you know how to weld.

Hi there
Thanks for the reply . Yes I noticed the kickstart was worn out so have replaced it . The lever still runs the brake pedal . The brake just seems lose / protrudes out to much .
